First Annual Underwater Egg Hunt

Incline Village Parks and Recreation Proudly Presents…The First Annual Underwater Egg Hunt!

When:  April 4, 2009, 11:00 am
Where:  Incline Village Recreation Center Pool
Cost:  Recreation Center Members are FREE / Non-members: $4/child

The Easter Bunny will make an early appearance!

Come join us for some underwater fun and fine tune your egg hunting skills. before the BIG EGGSTRAVAGANZA on April 11th at Incline Beach. Some eggs will be weighted, and some will float. Each colored egg is worth a prize! Children will be grouped according to age: 0-3*, 4 & 5, 6 & 7, 8 and older
*3 and under– parent must be in the water with the child

After the underwater egg hunt is complete, stay and swim with the Lobster Inflatable at 11:30 am.

Fireside Chat at Sierra Nevada College to Feature George LeBard

Sierra Nevada College’s next Fireside Chat, hosted by Andy Whyman, will feature George LeBard, best known for his current role as executive director for local hunger relief agency Project MANA. This latest up-close and personal look at yet another of the community’s most prolific citizens will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 7pm in the college’s Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences, rooms 139/141. Refreshments will be served. This ongoing series is a concept that grew out of the Seniors Conversation Café and represents a partnership between Sierra Nevada College and the Incline Village General Improvement District.

Eggstravaganza is April 11 at Incline Beach

The Spring Eggstravaganza Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, April 11, at Incline Beach. The hunt starts promptly at 11 a.m. and children from ages infant to 11 years old are invited to hunt. Come at 10:30 a.m. to take your child’s picture with the Easter Bunny. 

This event is sponsored by David W. Bradley Maintenance, Sierra Nevada College, and the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District.

The AAUW Women of Incline Village met Wednesday at the Parasol Reynolds Building. Before the evening’s program and monthly dinner, members and prospective members socialized.
