An evening to remember: Fireside Chats are enlightening and entertaining
By Terrie Drago On 22.03.09

A fireside chat with Andy Whyman is an evening to remember. Once you go to one fireside chat, you will keep coming back for more. However, the riveting and compelling conversations are not only with Mr. Whyman.
In fact, Whyman is not the individual whom is the compelling guest to draw a roomful of people to one of the monthly fireside chats at Sierra Nevada College. He is the primary interviewer and host of these interesting chats.
Each month, at center stage in the Tahoe Environmental Science’s Room 139 are two armchairs on a small platform, simulating a comfortable and casual setting for the interviewer (Andy Whyman) and the guest of the month. The chairs face out to an audience of visitors seated in a theater-style setting, minus an actual fire or fireplace. The evening’s format is a conversation between Whyman and the guest with the audience able to ask questions at the end of the evening’s chat.
