KidZone Museum earns $15,000 from Safeway eScrip
By Staff Reports On 24.01.09
KidZone Museum is honoring Safeway for its commitment to education. In the last year, Safeway has contributed over $15,000 through the eScrip funding program to the KidZone Museum in Truckee.
KidZone Museum is one of the top 200 earning groups nationally in the Safeway Ten Percent Back to Schools Program. Out of 15,000 schools that participated, Safeway will contribute an additional $1000 to KidZone Museum.
Thanks to Safeway and the eScrip program, the KidZone Museum has been able to help fund additional programs and classes for the community. Without Safeway’s contributions through the eScrip program, the KidZone Museum would not be able to continue providing stellar hands-on educational programs to children and the community.
For 15 years, the KidZone Museum has operated as a non-profit children’s museum serving locals and visitors from Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and Nevada.
